The authority allowing the conducting of this event is under Part I, Article I, Section 1050, Subsection E of the Code of
Statutes for the Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana.

Those Lodges within the Grand Jurisdiction of Montana wishing to participate in this upcoming event will
have to complete and abide by the following requirements and guidelines.

Each Participating Lodge will have to:

1.) Submit to the Grand Master a signed copy (Lodge Seal, Worshipful Master and Secretary’s Signatures required) of the
minutes of the Lodge’s meeting, wherein the petition(s) of the Candidate or Candidates being proposed to participate in
the Grand Master’s One Day Class were read. As per Part II, Article XIII, Section 37070, of the Code of Statutes of the
Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana, the petition must be read in open Lodge at a Stated Meeting. Then the Worshipful
Master refers the petition to an Investigating Committee as spelled out in Part II, Article XIII, Section 37090, of the Code
of Statutes of the Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana. Also include for each Candidate their copy of PETITION FOR
DEGREES / INITIATION Form.

2.) Submit to the Grand Master a signed copy (Lodge Seal, Worshipful Master and Secretary’s Signatures required) of the
minutes of the Lodge’s meeting where-in the Investigating Committee Report on the Candidate or Candidates being
proposed to participate in the Grand Master’s One Day Class was read and accepted. As per Part II, Article XIII, Section
37010, 37020, 37090 & 38010, of the Code of Statutes of the Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana. The committee shall
report, orally in person in open lodge or in writing, at the stated meeting next held two weeks or more from the time of
the appointment of the committee, unless further time is granted by the Master, or if the Grand Master by dispensation
fixes a shorter period. No ballot can be taken on the petition until after the committee has reported. The Investigating
Committee’s Report is to be received by the Lodge Secretary. The Lodge Secretary reports the Committee’s response to
the investigation of the petition in Lodge.

3.) Submit to the Grand Master a signed copy (Lodge Seal, Worshipful Master and Secretary’s Signatures required) of the
minutes of the Lodge’s meeting where-in the petition or petitions of Candidate or Candidates being proposed to
participate in the Grand Master’s One Day Class were balloted on, as per Part II, Article XIII, Section 38030, 38040, 38050,
38060, 38070,38080, 38090, 39010 & 39020, of the Code of Statutes of the Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana. This
may be the same set of Minutes that included the Investigating Committee’s report read by the Lodge Secretary. All
applicable Fees collected for Candidate for each of the Degree’s and placed in the hands of the Lodge Treasurer.

4.) Each Lodge is to vote on, approve and submit requests for Dispensations for the following items. The requests for the
dispensations can be submitted on the same Dispensation request form.

   A.) Request a Dispensation as per Part I, Article I, Section 1040, Subsection C of the Code of Statutes of the Grand
   Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana, to carry the Lodge’s Charter to the location where the Grand Master’s One Day Class
   will be conducted.
   B.) Request a Dispensation as per Part I, Article I, Section 1040, Subsection G of the Code of Statutes of the Grand
   Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana, asking for permission to confer more than one Degree upon a Candidate at any one
   Meeting.
   C.) Request a Dispensation as per Part I, Article I, Section 1040, Subsection H of the Code of Statutes of the Grand
   Lodge A.F.&A.M. of Montana, granting permission for the conferring of any of the degree work first sections upon
   more than three candidates at a time, or the Master Mason degree work second section upon more than one
   candidate at one time, except where provided for in the mnemonics, in writing prior to the conferral of the degree.
   Application for such dispensation shall be by the lodge after majority vote
